This policy explains what ParfAI collects, why, and what choices you have. It applies to parfai.org and any tools on it, including the Dupe Finder, Find My Scent, and the community pages.
ParfAI uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. Some pages also link out to retail partners through affiliate programs. Those partners may set their own cookies once you click through to their site, so they can credit the referral. This is standard for any site that links to online retailers, and it doesn't give us access to anything you do on their site. See our Affiliate Disclosure for which partners we currently work with.
Account and submission data is stored securely with Supabase, our database provider. We don't sell your personal data to anyone, and we don't share it with third parties beyond what's needed to run the site, such as our database provider, or the standard referral data affiliate links share with retail partners.
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and submissions, at any time via Contact. We'll respond as soon as we can.
When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you accept or decline optional cookies. We also respect the Global Privacy Control signal if your browser sends it, and treat it as a decline. To change your choice at any time, reopen the cookie notice. If you accept, we also count visits with a simple visitor counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics) so we can see which pages are read. Declining does not stop the cookies needed to keep you signed in. If you click through to a retailer, that retailer and its affiliate network may set their own cookies, which you can manage in your browser settings.
